Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 September 2026 · Applies to orbisdigitalglobal.com and to our business communications.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Wuhan Gaozhi Trading Co., Ltd. (武汉高跖贸易有限公司), a company registered in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China, with its registered office at Room 5 & 6, 18th Floor, Unit Building 6 (Building 3, 4, 6), Oceanwide International SOHO City, Wangjiadun Central Business District, Jianghan District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China (Jinbida Maker Space-A382).
For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR and the United Kingdom Data Protection Act 2018, and comparable data protection laws, Wuhan Gaozhi Trading Co., Ltd. is the data controller responsible for the personal data described in this policy. We also treat the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act as an applicable framework for California residents. Throughout this policy, “you” means the data subject: the individual whose personal data is being processed. You can reach us at [email protected] for any question relating to this policy or to your personal data.
2. Scope
This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it, who we share it with and what rights you have. It applies to visitors, prospective clients who contact us, and representatives of the businesses we work with.
It does not apply to the advertising and analytics platforms we operate on behalf of clients, each of which publishes its own privacy notice, nor to websites we do not control.
3. What information we collect
3.1 Information you give us
When you submit a business enquiry we collect the information you enter: your name, business email address, company name, website address, the type of partnership you are interested in, an indication of monthly media scope if you choose to provide it, and the content of your message. We also record that you agreed to this policy and the page from which the enquiry was submitted.
3.2 Information collected automatically
When you visit the website, our servers and our content delivery provider record technical information needed to serve pages securely: IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, the referring address, the browser and operating system user-agent string, and general location derived from the IP address at country or region level.
3.3 Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small number of functional cookies that are required for the website to work, including security cookies that protect submitted forms against cross-site request forgery. Where analytics is enabled, the analytics provider may set cookies or read device identifiers to produce aggregated traffic statistics. Details are set out in section 6.
3.4 What we do not collect
We do not ask for or knowingly store payment card numbers, bank account credentials, government identification documents or account passwords through this website. If you send such information to us unsolicited, we will delete it.
4. How we use information
- To respond to your enquiry and to prepare a proposal or statement of work
- To provide, administer and invoice the services we are engaged to deliver
- To maintain business records, including contracts, purchase orders and accounting entries
- To secure the website, prevent spam and abuse, and keep an audit trail of form submissions
- To understand in aggregate how the website is used, so that we can improve it
- To meet legal, tax, accounting and regulatory obligations that apply to us
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. Legal bases for processing
Where the GDPR, the UK GDPR or the CCPA applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Consent — for the processing of your enquiry details where you have ticked the consent box on our form, and for any non-essential cookies that require consent. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests — to respond to business-to-business enquiries, to secure our website, and to keep accurate business records. We have balanced these interests against your rights and consider the impact on you to be minimal, because the data is business contact information provided voluntarily.
- Contract — where processing is necessary to enter into or perform a contract with you or with the organisation you represent.
- Legal obligation — for accounting, tax and statutory record-keeping.
6. Cookies and tracking technologies
Functional cookies are necessary for security, session handling and form protection; these do not require consent because the website cannot operate securely without them. If we enable analytics, the analytics provider processes aggregated usage data on our behalf under a data processing agreement, and cookie-based identifiers are retained for no longer than fourteen months. We do not currently run advertising or behavioural retargeting networks on this website. Where a cookie requires consent, you can refuse or withdraw it without losing access to the site.
7. Third-party services we use
- Cloudflare, Inc. — content delivery, DNS, transport security and bot protection. Requests to this website are proxied through Cloudflare’s network.
- Our hosting provider — a virtual private server located in Los Angeles, United States, which stores the website files and the site database.
- Email providers — the mailbox at [email protected] is operated with a mailbox provider that processes message content and metadata in order to deliver it.
- Advertising platforms — where you engage us as a client, we may process business contact data inside Google Ads, Meta, TikTok and comparable platforms strictly for the delivery of the agreed services.
8. Who we share information with
We share personal data only as far as necessary, and only with: the service providers listed in section 7 acting as processors; professional advisers such as accountants and auditors under a duty of confidence; and public authorities where we are legally required to respond. We do not disclose your enquiry details to any platform or partner for their independent marketing use.
9. International transfers
We are established in China and use service providers in the United States, the European Union and elsewhere. Where personal data of individuals in the EEA or the UK is transferred outside those territories, we rely on appropriate safeguards under the applicable law, including standard contractual clauses offered by the relevant provider, or we transfer only the minimum information necessary to provide the service. You may ask us for details of the safeguard that applies to a specific transfer.
10. Retention
- Enquiry records from this website: retained for twenty-four months from the last contact, then deleted.
- Contract and transaction records: retained for the period required by applicable accounting and tax law, and in any event no longer than ten years.
- Website server and security logs: retained for approximately thirty days.
- Analytics identifiers: retained for no longer than fourteen months.
- Data tied to a withdrawn consent: deleted once the withdrawal has been verified, unless a legal obligation requires otherwise.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; have inaccurate data corrected; have data erased; restrict or object to processing; receive data you provided in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
If you are in the EEA or the UK you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority. If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you the right to know what categories of personal information we collect and how it is used, to request a copy of that information or its deletion, to ask us to correct it, and to be free from discrimination for exercising those rights. We honour CCPA data subject requests through the same contact route set out at the end of this section. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We will respond to a verified request within thirty days, and we may ask for information sufficient to confirm your identity before acting.
To exercise any of these rights, write to [email protected] with the subject line “Data request”.
11.1 Business communications and how to stop them
If you receive a business communication from us, such as a follow-up on an enquiry you submitted or an occasional note about our services, you can ask us to stop at any time. Every marketing communication includes an unsubscribe instruction, and writing to [email protected] with the word “unsubscribe” in the subject line will remove you from our contact list within five business days. We keep a suppression record of that request so that you are not contacted again in error. Transactional messages that relate to a contract you hold with us are not marketing communications and will continue for as long as the contract is in force.
12. Security
This website is served exclusively over HTTPS using transport layer security, and submitted forms are protected against cross-site request forgery. Access to the website administration area and to the site database is restricted to authorised personnel with individual credentials. We keep an audit trail of administrative actions. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we encourage you to send sensitive commercial documents only through a channel we have agreed in writing.
13. Children
This website is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of sixteen. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised, and material changes will be described on this page. Continued use of the website after an update indicates that you have read the revised policy.
